ABOUT Betsy

Smiling woman with glasses in a dimly lit environment with colorful lights.

I'm a creative operations professional and filmmaker based in New York, originally from Maryland. I graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film & Television and a joint minor in Computer Science and Mathematics.

I specialize in optimizing creative workflows and building production systems. At Asset TV, I redesigned template infrastructure across multiple editorial series, reducing post-production time by 70% and improving consistency for 400+ videos. I’ve produced 75+ multi-camera studio shoots for clients including BlackRock, PIMCO, and MSCI, balancing hands-on production with process improvement and systems thinking.

Beyond production, I leverage tools and automation to streamline creative operations, including Post Haste, Watchtower, Airtable, Trello, and OBS. I am expanding my data and analytics skills through Applied Statistics & Data Science coursework at UT Austin McCombs of Business and hands-on projects, applying insights to production optimization and workflow efficiency.

As a freelance cinematographer, I’ve worked on productions such as The National High School Musical Theater Awards (“The Jimmy Awards”) and created visual content for local women’s sports teams including the New York Sirens and Brooklyn FC. My projects combine creative storytelling with operational rigor, ensuring high-quality outcomes while maintaining scalable processes.

I’m particularly interested in creative operations roles where I can build systems, optimize workflows, and enable teams to produce content efficiently. I aim to bring my blend of hands-on production, technical problem-solving, and systems design to organizations that value both creativity and operational excellence.
